Musical Theatre Camp!

Two Weeks: July 8-12 / 15-19

Time: 9:00-3:30

Location: Just north of Holstein, On

**Location for the days of July 18 and 19 will be at our performance venue: The Optimist Centre, in Holstein

Performer Ages: 7-16

Performance Dates: July 18 @ 7:00pm &  July 19th @ 2:00pm

Cost: $500 for one performer.   $300 for each additional sibling

Our Musical Theatre Camp runs 9-3:30 Monday to Friday for two weeks.  During those two weeks, we will be learning and rehearsing a full 60 minute Broadway Jr show.  Anyone wishing to be considered for a lead role (with lines and/or solos) will need to audition.  Auditions will be in person sometime in later June.  Scripts and other rehearsal items will be given out ahead of July 8th to allow performers to get a head start learning songs and lines.  

A typical day at Firefly Theatre summer camps involves drama games, acting techniques, singing techniques, choreography, recess breaks, lunch breaks, and of course, rehearsal times!

We ask that performers bring labelled water bottles, lunches and a morning snack.  Footwear should be something they can easily walk and dance around in (flip flops are not a good pick). 

Parents/guardians will be asked to help supply some aspects of costumes for the show. 

Tickets to the show will be an additional cost of $10.00/adult and $5.00/child
